🎧 This Week’s Health Beat

Since COVID, there has been increasing attention on women’s mental health. Initially, the media focused on moms, but what about women who are 35+ and transitioning into menopause - in other words, if you fall into this age range, you are likely in perimenopause. This means your hormones are shifting throughout the day and every day - shifting from the way your body has operated since you exited puberty. As a result, your menstrual cycle starts to get out of whack, your breasts may get tender, and brain fog, anxiety, and/or depression sneak up on you. YIKES!

I had the honor of interviewing Dr Allie Sharma about mental health in this stage of life. Check out this preview. Know you are not alone and there are solutions! You are not crazy.

“If you're experiencing new onset anxiety or depression in your forties, it's crucial to consider hormonal changes as a potential cause and seek appropriate treatment.”

🙏🏼 Support Georgie's NYC Marathon Run for Resolve: The National Infertility Association

Celebrate a Milestone with a Mission

I am thrilled to share that I will be running the NYC Marathon to celebrate my 50th birthday! This year, I am dedicating my run to support Resolve: The National Infertility Association. Their incredible support during my fertility journey inspired me to become a staunch advocate for women's health.

Why Your Donation Matters

Resolve is on the front lines, ensuring that the 1 in 6 families struggling with infertility receive the support they need, regardless of government rulings. Your donation, no matter the amount, will help them continue this crucial work.

Join Me in Making a Difference

As we face an important time for reproductive rights and family support, your contribution can make a significant impact. Let's support Resolve together and ensure that no family is left behind.

Thank you for your generosity and support!

🧐 A Scary New Statistic: The First Generation to Have More Cancer Than Their Parents: “The fight against cancer is not only continuing, it is changing. I've seen it anecdotally in my own practice, with younger and younger people presenting with cancers that, by the books I read in medical school, are supposed to present in those who are older. We're making progress, of course; it is clearly better to have cancer now than it was to have cancer 50 years ago.”

Let’s Optimize Our Busy Lives! Did you know your iPhone can do this!? Automatically sort your grocery list. The Reminders app does double duty keeping lists, and it can even organize some lists for you. When you create a new list, select Groceries from the List Type drop-down. As you add items
